God Uses Our Weaknesses to Show His Strength

For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty.

In 1 Corinthians 1:26, the Bible tells us, “not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.” The world often values the rich, famous, and powerful, but God sees something different.

So why does God choose the weak and foolish things of the world? The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 1:29 that “no flesh should glory in His presence.” God doesn’t want us to boast about our own abilities. He wants all the glory to go to Him.
