Life can be tough. We all face moments where our weaknesses feel overwhelming, and difficult circumstances threaten to drown us in anxiety, fear, and despair. In those moments, it’s easy to get fixated on our problems and lose sight of anything good. Here at Moralisee.com, we want to share a powerful truth that can transform your perspective: looking to Jesus!

God doesn’t want us to wallow in self-pity or feel defined by our limitations. As believers in Christ, we are united with Him (Romans 8:1). The Bible assures us in 1 John 4:17, “Therefore as He is, so are we in this world!” This means that in God’s eyes, Jesus’ reality becomes our reality.
So, let’s make a conscious shift! Instead of dwelling on our vulnerabilities or the lack in our lives, let’s ask ourselves a different question: Is Jesus abandoned, forgotten, sick, or poor? Absolutely not! The scripture in Acts 7:55-56 paints a clear picture: Jesus sits “at the right hand of the Father, full of glory and power.” He is overflowing with peace, joy, favor, and has access to all of heaven’s resources! Jesus is blessed, loved, and highly favored by God, and because you are in Christ, that very same reality extends to you!

This is the essence of being “Jesus-occupied.” When we focus on who Jesus is and what He has accomplished, we begin to see ourselves and our circumstances through God’s eyes. From that perspective, we realize that His grace and power are more than enough to overcome any lack or difficulty in our lives. His love and favor are not based on our performance, but on who we are in Him – His beloved children.
