After my post on “God is never angry with you“, I have readers emailing me that they are still feeling doubtful about it. This feeling can be incredibly heavy, keeping us trapped in fear and doubt. But the good news is, it’s a lie the enemy whispers in our ears!

  • God loves you unconditionally.
  • The devil lies to make you feel unworthy.
  • Use God’s Word as your armor against doubt.
  • Believe in God’s forgiveness and righteousness.
  • Let the peace of God guard your heart.
Find rest and refuge in the arms of a compassionate Father.

Imagine the devil as a bully on the playground. His goal? To make us feel isolated and defeated. One of his favorite tactics is convincing us God is a stern judge waiting to punish every misstep. But the Bible paints a completely different picture!

Romans 8:31 tells us: “Since God is for us, who can be against us?” God isn’t some distant, angry figure. He’s a loving Father, “mad about you” in the best way possible! He loves you passionately and wants you to experience the fullness of that love, free from fear and shame.

A fortress, impregnable against the enemy’s attacks, stands strong in the power of faith.

So, how do we break free from these lies and step into the freedom God offers? Here are some powerful tools straight from God’s Word, our ultimate weapon against the enemy’s deception:

1. The Belt of Truth (Ephesians 6:14): Think of the truth as your armor. When doubt creeps in, grab your Bible! The devil can’t deceive you when you know what God says about you. Unfamiliar with scripture? Don’t worry! We have tons of resources on Moralisee.com and messages filled with God’s love and truth. Fill your heart and mind with this truth, and the enemy’s lies will lose their power.

Imagine yourself putting on a sturdy belt – the belt of truth. This truth isn’t just about knowing you’re not condemned; it’s about knowing you are chosen, loved, and forgiven (Ephesians 1:4-7). Dig into scripture, find verses that resonate with you, and write them down. When doubt whispers, these truths become your battle cry!

2. The Breastplate of Righteousness (Ephesians 6:14): The devil loves to pile on accusations, making us feel unworthy of God’s love. But remember, Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross grants us righteousness. It’s like a shield, deflecting these fiery darts of doubt and guilt. Believe in His gift and his forgiveness!

Think of the breastplate as a shield that protects your heart. The enemy may throw accusations your way, but they can’t penetrate the shield of righteousness that comes through faith in Jesus. Remember, you are not defined by your past mistakes, but by the sacrifice of Christ (Romans 8:1). Stand firm in this truth, and the enemy’s accusations will fall away harmlessly.

3. The Shoes of Peace (Ephesians 6:14): When the enemy tries to steal your joy, remember the gospel of peace. God is the God of peace, and He promises to crush the enemy under your feet! Stand firm in this truth, and your joy will overcome.

The shoes of peace represent the firm footing you have in Christ. When the enemy tries to steal your joy with worries or anxieties, remember the peace that comes from knowing God is with you. Philippians 4:6-7 assures us: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Stand firm in this peace, and your joy will be a beacon in the darkness.

God loves you very much. Don’t let the bad things you think about yourself stop you from being happy. Read God’s words, trust in Him, and you will be okay.

A ship, battered by the storms of life, finds safe harbor in the arms of a loving Savior.

Friends, you are not alone in this battle. We all face these struggles. But with the truth of God’s Word and the power of His love, we can stand strong against the enemy’s lies! Remember, when you believe in the right things, there’s no area of your life where the devil can win.
