Friends, Don’t Be Seduced by the Darkness!

He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps.

The Apostle Paul, a beacon of faith and resilience, reminds us in Romans 8:11, “And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that is living in you.” These powerful words offer a profound truth: just like Jesus rose from the tomb, conquering death and despair, the same incredible power lives within each of us!  

Think about it this way. No matter how strong the forces of darkness seemed at the time, they couldn’t keep Jesus down. The enemy may try his best to dim your light, but his efforts are ultimately futile. The power of God within you is far greater.

But here’s the good news that bursts through the darkness: The Most High God, our loving creator, is a mighty rescuer! He promises to lift us out of the pit, just as He promises to free us from our addictions, heal our bodies, and open new doors overflowing with opportunity.

God’s strength will lift you up when life pushes you down.

The pit? That’s not your destiny, friends. It’s simply a temporary setback, a chapter in your story that God will use to make your ultimate triumph all the more glorious. Get ready to rise! God has incredible things in store for you. Believe in His power, claim His promises, and prepare to soar above the darkness and into the light He has prepared for you. Remember, with God on your side, you are more than a conqueror!
