God’s faithfulness and justice

If the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the Fear of Isaac, had not been with me, you would surely have sent me away empty-handed. But God has seen my hardship…

I want to share a moving story from the Bible with you today that shows how God is always faithful and has amazing plans for each of us, even in the face of injustice and adversity.

1. Trust in God’s Plan: Just like Jacob, trust that God sees your struggles and is working for your good.
2. Endure with Faith: Keep your faith strong even when faced with unfair treatment or setbacks.
3. God Keeps the Records: Remember that God is aware of every wrong done to you and will bring justice.
4. Blessing in Abundance: Believe that God plans to bring you out of hardship with more blessings than you can imagine.
5. Don’t Be Discouraged: Don’t let the enemy’s lies discourage you from pursuing your dreams.

Now, let’s discuss Jacob. Jacob toiled diligently for his father-in-law, Laban, for twenty arduous years. He toiled for fourteen of those years in order to get Rachel and Leah, Laban’s daughters, as his wife. He then worked to develop his own flock for a further six years. Laban treated Jacob unfairly and very dishonestly at this period, manipulating the terms of his wages ten times.

Jacob received God’s blessing in spite of his difficulties. He stayed faithful despite the adversity. When the moment eventually arrived for Jacob to depart, he did so not without more sheep and wealth than Laban had. God had witnessed the injustices done to Jacob and had documented them all.

This narrative serves as a potent reminder that God is aware of the injustice in our lives. Every setback, every letdown, every injustice that is done to us is known to Him. However, He has bigger plans than simply getting us out of these circumstances; He has plans to get us out in plenty. God’s blessing is about more than just surviving; it’s about thriving and being showered with abundance beyond our wildest expectations.

Trust that God is always working for your good, even when times are tough.

Repayment is on the way. Even though the enemy may have intended for these difficulties to damage you, God is using them as a set-up for your eventual victory. The individuals who have harmed you, the unfairness, and the despair are not the end of your narrative. They are but the setting in which God’s plan shall be revealed in all its glory.

The enemy would adore nothing more than to watch you live a life of discouragement, to believe that things will never get better, and to give up on your aspirations. Therefore, don’t accept their lies. God is preparing you for greater things in your future. He is getting ready to bring you out of your hardships with more blessings and wealth than you can ever fathom, just like He did with Jacob.

Maintain your trust. Have faith in God’s time. Recall that He is constantly keeping an eye on you, maintaining accuracy of the records, and organizing your eventual triumph. Your adversity is merely the prelude to something bigger; it’s not the end.

May you be encouraged today, knowing that God’s blessing follows you, and He will bring you out with more than you ever dreamed.
