Hey family,

I’m so excited to share something that’s been stirring in my heart, something I believe can truly resonate with where many of us find ourselves today. We’ve all seen the video title: “11 Minutes Phone Call From Jesus | This Conversation Will Help You”. At first glance, it might seem like a metaphor, a creative way to grab our attention — and it is, in a sense. But it’s also so much more. It’s a powerful invitation to experience the kind of direct, intimate connection with our Savior that we sometimes feel is just out of reach.

You know, as believers, we talk a lot about prayer, about reading the Word, about seeking God’s will. These are, of course, absolutely fundamental to our faith. They’re the bread and butter of our spiritual lives. But let’s be honest — sometimes, in the hustle and bustle of our daily routines, in the midst of the noise and chaos that constantly surrounds us, it can feel like we’re talking at God, or about Him, rather than with Him.

That’s what this “11-minute phone call” concept gets at, I think. It’s about carving out a space, a mental and spiritual space, where we intentionally quiet all the other voices and distractions, and focus on the One who speaks with a voice of such profound love, such unwavering truth, and such gentle power. It’s about creating a space to truly listen.

The idea of a phone call is so relatable, isn’t it? In our modern world, the phone is often our primary means of communication. We use it to connect with loved ones, to get information, to navigate our day-to-day lives. But what if we were to intentionally use that same imagery, that same concept of a direct, personal connection, to think about our relationship with Jesus?

Imagine picking up the phone and hearing His voice, not as some distant echo from the heavens, but as a clear, distinct, and loving presence right there with you. What would He say? What would He want to communicate to your heart in that moment?

I believe that if we truly took the time to listen, if we quieted our own anxieties and expectations, we would find that He’s not going to give us a list of demands or a harsh lecture. Instead, I believe He would speak words of affirmation, words of comfort, and words of gentle guidance.

He might say something like:

“My child, I see you. I see the struggles you’re facing, the burdens you’re carrying, the questions that weigh heavy on your heart. I know the moments when you feel like you’re all alone, when you feel like your prayers are bouncing off the ceiling, when you feel like you’re not sure which way to turn. But I want you to know, with every fiber of your being, that you are never, ever alone. I am with you. Always.

My love for you is not a fickle thing, a fleeting emotion that changes with the circumstances. It’s a love that is steadfast, unyielding, and unconditional. It’s a love that pursued you even before you knew my name, and it’s a love that will never let you go, no matter what you do or where you go.

I know the world can be a confusing and overwhelming place. There are so many voices vying for your attention, so many paths promising happiness, so many temptations seeking to pull you away from the truth. But I am the way, the truth, and the life. In me, and in me alone, you will find the peace that surpasses all understanding, the joy that endures through every storm, and the hope that anchors your soul in the midst of the fiercest trials.

Do not be afraid to come to me with your doubts, your fears, your failures. I am not surprised by your weaknesses. I know you are human, and I know the struggles you face. But I am also divine, and I am all-powerful. And my power is made perfect in your weakness. So come to me, just as you are, and let me embrace you with my love, forgive you with my grace, and strengthen you with my Spirit.

I have a plan for you, my child. A plan that is good, a plan that is filled with hope, and a plan that will ultimately lead you to a place of wholeness and fulfillment. But that plan requires you to trust me, to surrender your will to mine, and to walk with me step by step, day by day.

It’s not always going to be easy. There will be times when the road is difficult, when the path is unclear, and when you feel like giving up. But even in those moments, I will be there with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. I will be your strength when you are weak, your comfort when you are hurting, and your guide when you are lost.

So take heart, my child. Do not be discouraged by the trials of this world. Do not be swayed by the temptations that surround you. Do not be afraid to step out in faith, even when you cannot see where you are going. For I am with you, and I will never let you fall.”

Can you imagine hearing words like that? Words of such profound love, such unwavering hope, such gentle guidance? That’s the kind of “phone call” I believe Jesus is always waiting to have with us. Not audibly, perhaps, but in the quiet whispers of our hearts, in the still small voice that speaks to our souls, in the gentle nudges of the Holy Spirit that guide us along the way.

This “11-minute phone call” concept, then, is an invitation to cultivate that kind of listening, that kind of attentiveness to the voice of God in our lives. It’s a reminder that He’s not a distant deity, far removed from our daily struggles, but a loving Father who longs to connect with us on a personal and intimate level.

It’s about setting aside those 11 minutes, or whatever amount of time we can realistically manage, to quiet the noise, to open our hearts, and to simply listen. To listen for His still, small voice. To listen for His gentle guidance. To listen for His unwavering love.

And that’s what we at Moralisee.com are passionate about: helping you cultivate that daily connection with God. We believe that spending time in His presence, hearing His voice, and reflecting on His Word is absolutely essential for living a life that is both fulfilling and pleasing to Him.
