We all have dreams and aspirations, but sometimes it can be scary to step outside of our comfort zone and pursue them. We might worry that we don’t have the skills or resources we need, or what other people will think. But as the Bible tells us in Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

God has a plan for each of us, and He wants us to live it out boldly. He doesn’t want us to be held back by fear or doubt. When we take that leap of faith and step into His calling, He will be there to support us every step of the way.

Here are a few things to keep in mind when you’re feeling afraid to step into God’s calling:

• God is with you. He will never leave you or forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
• He has equipped you with everything you need to succeed. (Philippians 4:13)
• Fear will try to hold you back, but don’t let it. (2 Timothy 1:7)

Taking that first step can be the hardest part, but it’s so worth it! When you start living out God’s calling for your life, you’ll experience joy, peace, and fulfillment that you can’t find anywhere else.
