God is never angry with you
Discover the truth about God’s love and how to overcome the enemy’s lies. Learn how right believing and the armor of God can lead you to a victorious life in Christ.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places…. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace.
Ephesians 6:10–12, 14–15

Today, I want to address a common misconception about God: that He is angry with them. This deception is one of the enemy’s most successful techniques. The devil understands that if he can convince you that God is angry with you, he can keep you locked in dread, defeat, and bondage. But I’m here to debunk that myth and demonstrate from God’s Word that God is not angry with you—He is angry about you! God loves you passionately and wants you to be completely certain and confident in His love for you.
To begin living a triumphant life, you must believe with your whole heart that God is for you, not against you, as stated in Romans 8:31. The Bible refers to using the weapons of right believing to overcome the devil’s trickery as being strong in the Lord. Ephesians 6:10-20 describes God’s armor, demonstrating that rightly trusting in what Jesus has done will always result in victory.
The apostle Paul begins with the Belt of Truth. When the devil attacks you with lies, bind your waist with the belt of truth. The devil cannot fool you if you believe what God’s Word says about you. He can only make inroads into your thinking when you don’t understand or are unsure about what God’s Word says. That is why I encourage everyone to read God’s Word for themselves and listen to messages filled with God’s grace and truth. Fill your mind and heart with the truth, and you will undoubtedly vanquish the enemy.

God loves you deeply and is always for you.
Second, the devil will attack you with various charges and condemning thoughts in order to make you feel guilty and bad about yourself. This is why it is critical to be rooted in the gift of righteousness. When you are, his efforts against you will fail. All of the devil’s blazing accusations are rendered impotent by the breastplate of righteousness, which protects your heart from fear, guilt, and judgment.

The enemy will also want to steal the joy you have because of the gospel of peace, which is represented as shoes in Ephesians 6. But when he comes, know and believe that the God of peace will undoubtedly crush Satan beneath your feet.
Beloved, it is time to stand up to the enemy’s falsehoods! Rest certain that when you believe correctly, the devil will have no advantage over you in any aspect of your life. God genuinely loves you, and His love is the cornerstone of your success. Trust His Word, put on His armor, and live with confidence knowing that God is on your side.
